Driving Business Performance: What Separates PFS

I recently came across this infographic when I was viewing CEB’s Workforce Surveys twitter, which lead me to relay this to the company culture here at Petroleum Field Services (PFS).  Since inception PFS has collectively driven results not only as a company but also for our clients. Through the entrepreneurial leadership of CEO Steve Young, PFS has tripled in size. In the past seven years we have grown from a one-person operation into a company that now employees 71 people, and have created field offices in Colorado, North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, and Texas. What do we attribute to our success to drive productivity?

Our company culture is unlike any other company. By encompassing five core values of taking ownership, teamwork, trust, communication, and fun, we have positioned ourselves as a reliable resource not only within our field but also throughout our community. Our employees truly enjoy coming to work each day, and because of this we are able to enrich the oil and gas industry. By investing in people, infrastructure, and equipment we have built our core of professional services to support capital development programs in the energy industry.

Our Five Core Values to Drive Results

Taking ownership: All PFS employees take personal responsibility for all tasks to insure accuracy.

Teamwork: By collectively working on projects and sharing ideas our employees value and respect each other driving success.

Trust: At PFS we work with integrity and always do what’s best for our team and our company.

Communication: We are responsive; we resolve issues and we clearly understand expectations of one another.

Fun: From Cinco de Mayo parties to chili cook offs why not embrace your inner child and have some fun.  The most fun aspect of working at PFS is our great attitude and helping each other to win.
